BGA Fleet

Introduction

The BGA fleet consists of a Duo Discus, a Puchacz and a motorglider, as shown below.

BGA Duo Discus X

When flying BGA gliders off site (i.e. away from their operating base) in the spring/summer a pre booked per week flying fee is applied. There are no discounts available on the per week fee. In the winter, a pre booked daily rate applies. Bookings should be made as follows;

1. Contact the BGA office to check availability.

2. Download, complete and sign the Terms and Conditions Hire Form and return the completed form with the deposit to the BGA Office Manager. The winter day rate deposit is £70.

3. You will receive confirmation of your booking by email.

The Duo Discus G-DUOX pilot in command qualification requirement is - minimum - Silver Badge plus 200 hours and BGA National Coach approval.

Motor Glider

The BGA Rotax Falke G-GBGA is based at, and being managed by, Windrushers Gliding Club (Bicester) for the duration of the 2007 instructor training trial. Any suitably qualified BGA club member who wishes to fly the BGA motor glider may do so having made the necessary temporary membership and other arrangements with the Windrushers Gliding Club (subject to availability).
