Young Pilots Cross-Country Coaching Course

We will be running the 2004 Young Pilots Cross Country Coaching Course at Husbands Bosworth Airfield on 9th – 13th August.

This popular course is subsidised by the BGA, so that there is no course fee to pay at all, and every candidate will receive a flying subsidy for the week, although details of this will be confirmed at a later date.

This year’s course will be run by Simon Adlard, the BGA’s National Coach. He will be assisted by several of the UK’s top soaring pilots and instructors, flying high performance two seat training aircraft, such as the Duo Discus.

Application for one of the places on this course is by letter, to the National Coach at the address below. The closing date for entries will be 30th April 2004. Any applications after that date will not generally be considered.

The course is primarily aimed at young persons who are between solo level and early cross country level, although we will seriously consider all applications from young persons for the course.
