GQ Silhouette Parachute Harness During the last repack of this parachute, the packer noticed that the straps were adjusted very short. This gave the suspicion that the harness may have been used incorrectly. The consequence of this would be that the wearer would probably fall out of the harness on deployment of the canopy. This note illustrates the correct method of wearing this parachute together with some wrong possibilities. The most important note is to thread the strap between the legs and through the loop on the same side. The strap is then clipped across the torso to the link on the OPPOSITE side. The result is that the straps cross over the torso, thus holding the wearer in the harness
