The period of validity shall not exceed 7 days. 2. This certificate may only be issued by a nominated person, BGA Chief Engineer, appropriately licensed engineer or the CTO. 3. The certificate shall be issued in duplicate and one copy kept elsewhere than in the aircraft. 4. Conditions of issue are to be found in the latest issue of BCAR A3-8. Passengers shall not be carried during flight under A conditions, an observer may be carried provided that the increased risks involved are briefed prior to flight and accepted.
