In 2004 the BGA Technical Committee decided to standardise all models at 110 knots VNE and 65 knots VRA. The longitudinal datum is 200mm forward of the rear face of frame 10. BGA data has previously quoted the front face in error. Elliotts production started in 1947 with the Oly 1 (wooden skid U/C), Oly 2 (wheel and skid) and Oly 3 (jettisonable U/C). From production number EON/O/107 the Oly 2b was produced with various mods, including the double tailplane fixing to minimise the risk of ground handling damage.
