Max winch weak link: 500 Kg (White) Tyre pressure:psi (Bar) Semi aerobatic, Cloud flying permitted Notes: Span 18 Meters Max weight - The world’s Sailplanes Vol 1 (1962) gives 850 lb but a BGA C of A document gives 800lb, which results in a sensible Max cockpit weight of 220lb for that glider. 800lb has been taken as correct. Speeds – The speeds quoted assume that the ASI is connected to the pitot static tube mounted on the nose. Ex London GC Sky BGA No 685 and possibly some others had a nose pitot and static side vents which require different speed limitations.
