BGA Inspector Authorisation Flow Chart This flow cart outlines the steps required to gain a BGA Glider Inspector Authorisation in accordance with approved BGA procedures. Please note; this process is current at January 2013 but does not embody any changes that may be introduced with the adoption of EASA Part 66 ā€œLā€ engineers licence. Start At least 4 Years experience of inspection, servicing & maintenance of sailplanes Gain applicable experience At least 4 years previous aircraft maintenance experience with appropriate sailplane experience Additional ratings Info: Training courses an advantage but not essential 18 Years of age Compile Personal Experience record. Info: Entries on PER should be confirmed Info: All applicants must apply for Glider Inspector. Additional ratings can be applied for at the same time provided PER sheets include applicable experience Complete BGA Inspector application form (BGA 221) with basic information. (Obtain 2 nominations – initial applications only).
