Steel braided flexible fuel hoses with braid sleeve failed due to engine vibration and interaction of a cable tie. Check for failed braid and always follow manufacturers recommended hose replacement guidelines. Use correct “P” clips wherever possible or cushion hose at cable ties especially where ties are looped through one another.
