4. SZD Standard Jantar

Reported by Roger Hurley, RTO Wales and West Midlands

Seat back became unlatched in flight during turbulence. Restraining seat adjusters

advice in “Special Inspections All Types” item 17, not followed. Had this advice been

followed a near accident would have been avoided.

BGA Recommendations should be reviewed periodically and at C of A renewal as

experience gained from others may save lives.
