Information on Flight Manuals revision status will soon be available on the BGA web site “Transition” page. There will also be links to the Type Certificate Data Sheets.

In the interim, German LBA TCDS are available using the following links. Use the reference documents at the end of the list to determine file name. http://www.gliding.co.uk/bgainfo/technical/easa/tcds/ The LBA TCDS are kindly supplied by the LBA to aid the transition and are LBA Copyright. EASA TCDS are available from the EASA web site http://www.easa.eu.int/home/tc_aircraft_en.html
Note, the BGA is unable to supply paper copies of TCDS.
2. Glider Markings There appears to be some debate on the markings required on BGA gliders. BGA AMP leaflet 3-7 provides BGA interpretation and guidance on the CAA requirements. CAP 523 and ultimately the Air Navigation Order are the definitive references guides. Please read carefully when making an interpretation of the requirements. In addition BGA Laws and Rules for Glider Pilots - Operational Regulation 1.9 should be observed. This one could save your life! Nothing the UK is doing now in unique, follow the examples from our colleagues in Europe who have been displaying D- or F- etc. for many years.
