Slingsby Flight Manuals (Advisory) Slingsby have advised us that flight manuals/pilot notes are available for all their gliders and motor gliders. T61 series will need a copy for C of A/ARC renewal. T65 Vega owners need one for transition. Orphan Gliders (T51, T53, T59) do not need a manual for transition, however owners may choose to obtain one as it contains maintenance information. Maintenance Programmes Please do not forget to customise the applicable maintenance programme for your aircraft. • Gliders and Self Sustainers – BGA GMS • EASA SLMG, TMG Tugs – CAA LAMP • Annex II SLMG, TMG, Tugs – CAA LAMS Additional tasks should be entered in the programme or as additional sheets and for SLMG, TMG and Tugs life limited components and inspections should be entered in CAP 543. LAMP users must also ensure the aircraft owner or operator has completed the statement in Section 2, Foreword 1. Further approval is not required however this is one of the areas that will be inspected during an audit. 2.
