Incorrect bolt found fitted to seat harness mounting. Very worn setscrew found in place of clevis pin.

Correct clevis pin installed.

Control stick restricted by seat adjustment control knob.
On later models we understand there is a small spring that recoils the adjustment cable.
Check during annual inspection.

Elevator and rudder hinges found delaminated. This area was subject to a one off inspection ref AD 89-209/2.
Annual inspection recommended.

Castrol have recalled some batched of 2 stroke oil due to contamination.

10 Technoflug Propeller Installed in a DG800 Reported by Peter Redshaw

Structural crack found in propeller. No impact damage.
It is suspected that the damage may have
been caused by overheating after retraction of engine – currently under investigation.

EASA SIB 2011-15R1 (Advisory)

EASA have cancelled AD 2006-0265 relating to Gilham code altitude data. BGA

inspection 053/08/2011 is still applicable and is aligned with the requirements of SIB

2011-15R1 including the annual inspection and 24 month testing requirements.
