On later models we understand there is a small spring that recoils the adjustment cable. Check during annual inspection. No impact damage. It is suspected that the damage may have been caused by overheating after retraction of engine – currently under investigation. Equipment 11 Transponder Checks EASA SIB 2011-15R1 (Advisory) EASA have cancelled AD 2006-0265 relating to Gilham code altitude data.
