If you feel something doesn’t apply to you, please indicate so rather than leave a blank space. b) To apply for a bursary you must be a member of a British Gliding Association gliding club, you must meet the requirements for training for the relevant BGA instructor rating, and you must be recommended for instructor training by your CFI. BGA instructor requirements are detailed at https://members.gliding.co.uk/library/bga-requirements-guidance/instructorrequirements/. c) You must be at least 16 and under 25 years of age at the time of application. d) On completion of the instructor training you must supply the BGA with a brief written report that can be used to inform the bursary funders. e) Bursary funds are paid by the BGA to the club at which the BI course or Assistant Instructor course D module takes place. f) When sections 1&2 have been completed, please ask your Chief Flying Instructor to complete section 3. g) You should submit the completed application by post or email (details below). h) The BGA will at its sole discretion select the successful applicants.
